We’ve all done the Versamark Resist techniques, and if you haven’t check out some ideas on my blog here: http://www.easyscraps.com/blog/blogu.php/versamark-resist-technique-final-chapter , or just search on Versamark. And I have gone over Versafine ink with dye based all the time on regular cardstock, but never thought to try the Resist technique with Versafine. That is until I was watching Tim Holtz’s Creative Chemistry 101 class (great class BTW!). Tim used the oil-based Archival Ink by Ranger, and I don’t have a lot of colors in that line. But I do have every color of Versafine, and since that is oil-based as well, I decided to give it a shot.
And wow, did it work great!! I actually think it worked better than the Archival Ink, because it holds the detail so well. So check out the new video to watch along, and give it a try, yourself! It’s super easy and fun!! Enjoy!!
And PS, Tsukineko- I REALLY wish you would come out with more Versafine colors!!!!
